We finally had the pleasure of giving the sculpted bust “K Joe and Cody” to Walter and Wilma Eldridge. Two of the best parents/ Grandparents some guys could ask for. The bust is of their late son Kevin Joe Eldridge, who died far to young from Cancer at the age of 50. This bust commemorates his life, with him at his prime holding his young dog Cody. Cody was his sidekick in life and of great importance to him. One of his best poems was in memory of his late dogs passing. Kevin was a man of great character and charisma. A writer from the time of childhood, he went on to get his masters in poetry and soon after became a professor. During his life he had the opportunity to influence many people greatly with his writings and his antidotes. My father and I are two of those many people. He is missed greatly.
